
Robert spent the majority of his welding career in the oil and gas industry. The early years of Texas Ironman began as a part-time hobby as friends and family began requesting welding projects from Robert. He increasingly began to enjoy his work through Texas Ironman as it allowed him to work directly with customers and utilize his creativity.
Today, Texas Ironman has expanded into a full-service welding and fabrication business with customers ranging from home-owners, real estate investors, small businesses, and corporations.
Robert has 14+ years of welding, layout, and fabrication experience and received formal training through Texas State Technical College. He has extensive experience welding highly technical products for international, Fortune 500 companies. In these settings, his products have undergone multiple rigorous styles of NDTE (non-destructive testing and evaluation).
He has been certified through employers for the following processes. include SMAW (2G, 3G – Carbon Stainless Inconel), GTAW, SAW (1G– Carbon Stainless Inconel), FCAW (1G, 2G). Metal Skills certification: GMAW (6G).
